From Babaji to Yogananda: Earth Service

 

      

I can speak from personal experience on this matter not of theory and believe that these words will resonate with those who are willing to receive them...The path to discipleship is mysterious and is revealed through inner guidance. The world is inundated with a caste like concept of "guru" but what does this title really mean? A guru is your mountain guide, your polestar that encourages your own strength within to discover the kingdom of inner bliss. Do you need a guru to discover this?  The answer to this question lies within the door of your heart and it is our duty as spiritual beings to sincerely ask for this guidance from within:

 

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

 Matthew 7:7-8

Society at large may coil at the idea of the guru/disciple relationship. Thinking as if it means by committing ourselves to such a path we forgo our freedom and individual will. On the contrary, when we first seek guidance from within in our heart, only the resonance of Love is capable of responding.

There is an inner precept that discipleship with my guru (Paramhansa Yogananda) began in an age or Yuga over 25,000 years ago and in this relationship has been a commitment to the path of Earth service as a means into the I AM (Self-Realization). Calling him master is to imply that God (Source) has fully anchored within his ray of consciousness; complete in escaping the karmic programming of Maya or ignorance. By traversing planes of existence, a master or Ascended Master has gained the mastery to guide a student disciple into developing their own sacred will or as Yogananda put it: 

"The purpose of the guru is not to weaken your will. It is to teach you secrets of developing your inner power, until you can stand unshaken amidst the crashing of breaking worlds"

Mahavatar Babaji the deathless ever youthful guru who resides in the Himalayas is the original transmitter of Kriya Yoga, a powerful life force control technique passed down from him to Yogananda through his guru Swami Yukteswar. It is said that Babaji remains on this earthly plane because like Yogananda his commitment is to the Earth service ray. Yeshua the Christ can also be associated with Earth service through a commitment to the path of cosmic service to others as one's Self. That commitment is anchored in the spiritual work of every truth seeker that wants such guidance and healing. 

Through the practice of  Kriya I have been guided by the strengthening Divine Will in my heart to other techniques that are unfolding the layers of Maya, such as Goddess meditations, Light Mandala, and Tachyon chamber technology. I believe that a movement toward spiritually guided agriculture and gardening along with sound healing modalities are also unfolding as my mission. The Christ energy through this activity anchored in the devotion found in Kriya and meditation on the selfless service to others. A path of Earth service is a ray of initiation into our divine presence and I am infinitely thankful to the gurus and guides along the path that teach the secrets that encase my inner Christhood. My only desire is to share what is behind that door with those on earth and beyond from a place of inner freedom. That door in the scripture of Matthew is the gateway to the altar of God consciousness within, a door no man can shut; where all we have to do is knock with devotion!

I will be satisfied by the wonderful opportunity to share with you what I have discovered through the grace of God and the ray of Earth Service.  It is by the guidance of my guru that I look forward to experience this awakening planet with you and to share with each other our missions as this age progresses through the darkness into Light. What a moment to be embodied. The best has yet to come!
